About this Product
The W-Modbus WALL-rail enables wireless Modbus RTU communication through a self-optimising mesh network. This eliminates the need for the installation of RS485 cabling. This reduces installation time and costs, and simplifies integration of Modbus devices into existing setups.This solution is powered by Lumenradio’s MiraOS and MiraMesh technologies, enabling robust communication over 2.4GHz with a range of up to 500 meters line-of-sight and 50–70 meters indoors.
The W-Modbus WALL can be configured either as a Gateway or as a Node. Each network can support up to 100 Nodes, making the system highly scalable and ideal for applications in energy management and industrial environments.
Two versions are available:
W-Modbus WALL – Connects 1 Modbus device
W-Modbus WALL Pro – Connects up to 4 Modbus devices
A W-Modbus network can support a total of up to 100 Modbus RTU devices. Regular and Pro units can be mixed to suit your application needs. Example configurations include:
- 100x W-Modbus WALL, each with 1 connected Modbus device
- 25x W-Modbus WALL Pro, each with 4 connected Modbus devices
- 60x W-Modbus WALL and 10x W-Modbus WALL Pro
