About this Product
Are you looking for multiple socket outlets for safe operation in explosive environments? Then we recommend the Appleton A.T.X. MRE series of multiple socket outlets. Components which are excellent for application within oil refineries, petrochemical plants and drilling platforms.Plugs of the PRE and UPR series from the same manufacture and these multiple socket outlets form the ideal combination. When a plug is removed, the linear switch will provide complete separation of powers. High voltage is separated in a pressure-proof chamber and automatic electrical separation of each phase takes place in a second pressure-proof chamber.
With their high protection of 20kA against short circuits (normal reference is 10kA) the MRE series multiple socket outlets guarantee safe operation of devices including lighting systems, motor generators, compressors and pumps. Colour coding for different voltages to guarantee safe conditions.
Also available in a 16 and 32A version and ample additional options.
