About this Product
The Appleton A.T.X. UPR series of plugs and sockets are a great combination. These components are equipped with a mechanical lock that prevents the plug from being disconnected from the wall outlet when the system is on. Ideal for use in the working conditions of oil refineries and petrochemical plants or drilling platforms.UPR series plugs and sockets are colour coded so that different voltages can be easily distinguished. The large on/off switch on the socket provides a clear visual status indication. These low voltage sockets can be locked in either the "on" or "off" position. This contributes to the safety of these plugs and sockets and the maintenance of appliances such as lighting systems, motor generators, compressors and pumps.
