About this Product

Softing edgeGate enables efficient and secure data integration into higher-level management systems such as ERP, MES, or SCADA. The gateway supports the connection to PLC and CNC controllers and utilizes the OPC UA standard, allowing for simple and flexible networking of both new and existing plants.

In addition, edgeGate offers MQTT Publisher/Subscriber functionality, enabling the direct integration of machine data into private or public IoT cloud applications on the IT side. The generic MQTT implementation supports the use of a wide variety of cloud providers. Like the OPC UA standard, MQTT also supports various security mechanisms, including encrypted connections, certificates, and user authentication, ensuring a high level of data security.

The edgeGate device includes three central functions designed to optimize security and performance in industrial applications: device management, license management, and a communication interface.

With these capabilities, edgeGate is a compact, secure, and future-oriented gateway for data integration.

Supports up to 20 connections for access to Simatic Siemens PLC, Allen-Bradley PLC, Siemens Sinumerik controllers, Fanuc CNC controller, Modbus TCP controller, or OPC UA machine data.
Easy local and global access to field data and routing through firewalls.
