About this Product
The epGate DP is the perfect gateway for process control with multiple protocols. This gateway provides easy connection of PROFIBUS DP to Ethernet/IP control systems. Internal I/Os will support one PROFIBUS DP segment or up to 32 PRFOIBUS devices.By applying the epGate DP, an existing PROFIBUS segment can be reused without any modification. Configuration, parameterization and factory management are possible with well-known industry tools including Studio 5000 and AMS Device Manager. Mapping between the two protocols and data access from PLC tool to PROFIBUS devices will make operation very straightforward and user-friendly. All this makes for ease of use as well as a significant reduction in engineering costs.
