Lightning current and surge arresters

Lightning strikes can cause lightning current and overvoltage resulting in (irreparable) damage. Lightning current and surge arresters can be used to prevent damage. Type 1 lightning conductors for lightning current. Type 2 and Type 3 surge arresters for overvoltage.
