Lumel PD8 series converters are ideally suited to convert signals from devices like the P30O measured value transducer and the DN display. The PD8 uses the Ethernet network to allow master devices and SCADA applications to access devices with RS485 interfaces, such as the P300.Thanks to different working modes of the PD8, such as TCP/IP socket, RealPort network service and UDP serial bridge, connected devices can be configured via USB port and all types of web browser.
In short, this PD8 converter makes it possible to connect to tools such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) via a WiFi signal or Ethernet without any problems.
